I just went to Wall Mart and purchased the following items, and I thought I'd give you guys my impressions on them!

Turtle Wax Tire Wax I'm sure many of you have used this already, and it works EXTREMELY well!! Ten times better than the sprays, and it usually lasts me about 2 weeks! Rating: 10/10

Meguiars "Hot Rims" Rim Cleaner This product I wasn't as impressed with. Basically because it can't get the rims totally clean. Simply because of all the tight area's with the stock SVT rim (mine is a 98.5). So the area's which I could spray got cleaned but I usually had to go over the rim again with the cloth to get the remaining brake dust. Although it was good in the since that it got most of the dirt off the rim and all I had to do was clean the corners.
Rating: 7/10

Turtle Wax Bug and Tar Remover This product was great. I don't know about many of you but I find that the door ding protectors are very hard to clean, but not with this product. Very little time and effort is needed to clean them now!!
Rating: 10/10

Armor All Express Wash (Waterless Car Wash) This product again is great!! I usually use it if I have just cleaned the car the day or two before. All you have to do is spray on and wipe off.
Rating: 10/10

Armor All Glass Wipes
This product I am not impressed with at all. Although it does as it says and doesn't leave streaks, it leaves little bits of tissue all over the glass. It's as if the wipe disintegrates as your using it and leaves the bits behind.
Rating: 5/10

Armor All Leather Wipes
I found this product much better than it's glass cleaning brother. I called Armor All before using them, because I didn't want my seats to be slippery after using them. They said that the wipes were "specially formulated" to be less slippery. So I used them, and the seats were still a bit slippery, but their looks made up for it.
Rating: 8.5/10

*Note: The Armour All Wipes were QUITE difficult to open, so use caution when opening them for the first time!! And no they aren't as easy to remove as on the ads!!

Not just because its Mequiars but NO wheel cleaner gets everything, that take good old fashioned "elbow grease" wink so use some of that and a toothbrush, WD40 and then some more wheel cleaner!

Word of warning: Meguires Instant Wheel Cleaner(Not Hot Rims) will ruin your wheels! Believe me. I agree with Roger on the elbow grease...I'm going to have arthritis by 23 from cleaning my 7 spokes! Antonio hit the nail on the head by suggesting that the wheels be cleaned in the same manner as the paint. Since then I have used nothing but car wash, soft sponge and a lot of sweat to get the wheels shining, followed by a little bit of wax. wink

Crappy product. Known to damage rims and Baer brakes.

Don't forget to reapply wax over area you just used that bug and tar remover on.

I don't believe in any waterless car wash products.

For the amount of product you get it aint worth it.

Armour All gets no use in my car. That stuff is horrible. Use it for the wheel wells only.

Agreed. Avoid all wheel cleaners. Diluted Simple Green if anything.

I never said avoid all wheel cleaners. If the rims are really bad you are going to need a cleaner to get the gung off. I suggest P21S this stuff works wonders. Pete you remember that little green bottle. wink

For my weekly washes the rims are already clean enough so I don't have to use a wheel cleaner. I just use Z-7 car wash.

P21S is good because it won't eat through the clearcoat on wheels (or so they say).

I've found that Meguiar's Gold Class wheel cleaner works the best. Castrol's isn't bad either however.
