I use the meguires on all of our cars where I work (small dealer), as well as on my SE....I had that problem....I now use a soft cloth and not one of those applicator thingies. the cloth absorbs the extra goo, no slingy.

Shifty, the tire tint isnt that drastic a look though, so you wont be getting that bling pimped out look. I dont have pictures, but i am not sure the color would come out in a picture, its just enough to glimmer in the sunlight. Go ahead and buy some, if you dont like it, it can clean off with some scrubbing. The way I put it on, for a thicker coverage is not wiping, but dabbing it on, that way you get a nice deep shine, along with the tint.

It took forever to scrub that sh*t off the tires. I don't think I ever got all of it off.

That stuff is horrible! I was at my cousins last weekend and he tried it on his Tahoe after I told him not to buy it. It coated the side of the car upon driving. We had to wipe the entire car down and then take it off the tires. It came off the tires like a black grease. He took my advise and bought the Meguire's gel. I'll have to try the Turtle wax stuff now.

I think I'll have to try the turtle wax stuff too. I just bought a bottle of the meguier's hi gloss the other week.

you guys must frickin goop this crap on with a fricken bucket... i've been using black magic for 2 years now, get a nice shine out of it every time with one of those foam aplicators, and i dont get it sprayed all over my car.....
i've used the colored glaze also, but i dont like the funky color it gets after the gloss wears off. Simple green seems to take care of that stuff in a hurry, i'm sure the stp cleaner would work great also..

I always wipe it off after applying it (or to much). I hate that "wet-wetter" look. Maybe that's why I have had no problems with the stuff. I tried the gel and didn't like it either. I guess it's all what your looking for. BTW, best cleaning spry or foam is GREEN STUFFF! I can't get along without it.

One thing I started doing a while back is using on the hard black parts of the car, like the bits for the outside mirrors, and other misc. parts. It's looks damn good.
