I know there have already been a lot of posts about HID's, but I couldn't find a direct answer to my question.

1. Correct me if I'm wrong, but is 5500k bulbs a bluish color whereas 8000k is a purplish color?

2. Also is the only difference between 5000k and 8000k the color? Is the whiteness of the lights the same?

3. Is the correct size 9006?(For 98.5 SVT)

4. Can I get a kit that will convert my headlights as well as my fog lights? If so how much more for the fog lights?

5. As I live in Canada, I have day time running lights, so will they be HID as well?(Possibly a stupid question!!)

2. Color is "whiteness". So the color is different.

3. Yes

4. You don't want HID fogs. If you did, you'd have to get whole new assemblies.

5. Running lights are the bright lights. Not regular. Keep the regular lights for brights, and just get HID for the regular.

Keep in mind, the plug MIGHT be backwards on the ballast. Check the positive and negative before you install them.

I bought my HID set from autolamps-online.com and it was so easy to install. Didn't have to invert the positive and negative at all. Truly plug n play kit. Little pricey but I cannot be happier.

Was it really plug and play installation? Sounds like something I ought to do soon!
