Had an unfortunate accident last weekend and somewhat (well totally) creamed the front of my car. Was wondering if any of you know of anyone who has put a 98 front clip on a 97......I am very interested in doing so and wondered how big of a job it would be. I am assuming that I need the hood, grill headlights, fenders, headlights, inner bumper and outer cover and also the header panel. Any help would be appreciated on this as I have to do this soon......also anyone know where there might be a whole front clip from a 98 or a 98 svt??

Did the bumper just get messed up, or was it the whole front end?

It would probably be cheaper just to put the car back the way it was. You can even go for the pre98 SVT front bumper instead of the old stocker.

The whole front end unfortunately, core support, header panel lights hood fenders bumper and even the inner bumper split in two. I like the look of the SVT bumper on the pre 98, and might consider it if I can come up with all the other parts. Thanks for your info chris......much appreciated!

IF THERE IS THAT MUCH DAMAGE SWITCHING TO THE 98+ FRONT WOULD BE AN EASY SWAP. IM DOING IT TO MY 95 NO WRECK THOUGH.IF YOU ARE REPALCING THE CORE SUPPORT ANY WAY, LET THE SHOP KNOW WHAT YOU WANT AND THEY CAN FIND A 98+ FRONT CLIP INSTEAD OF THE PRE 98. IF THEY WONT WORK W/ YOU THEN CHECK FOR A REPUTABLE SHOP THAT WILL.
