I posted this in the Brake forum as well, just thought I could get some more advice in here. I know Im not the only shmuck thats ever thought of this ingenious idea...I'm in a bind for $$ right now, saving up for school and all, but what better idea than to PAINT the brake calipers red or yellow, to LOOK like they're performance brakes? Eh? Only problem is, what paint out there will stand that heat? And would i be able to paint them w/o having to take them off my car? Can anybody help me out here?

just did it today.
Go to any auto store and get high temp engine paint, or there's actually brake specific stuff. Sand those babies to get all the crap off them. You can leave them on there to paint them if you make sure to tape everything off extremely well.
All in all I sanded for 30 min, taped for 30 min, and did about 3 coats over 4 hours.

p.s. Try searching on topic, you'll find much more information than you ever wanted.

There is VHT Brake Caliper paint , Might have to take apart caliper though.
But I used the G2 Paint . Works good and last a long time plus you just use paint brush and dont have to take them apart. Comes with cleaner and paint.
Looks similar to this:
