I ran out of time after applying the Z1 at my parents house...Is it ok to drive home 45 mins with just the Z1 on then put on the Z5 tomorrow morning?

Not really...that drive will get all sort of dirt and road grime on the paint.

Might be too late to comment, but I would wash with Z7, then Z1/Z2 it.
