anybody know where i can get some really tiny, hard to notice when not lit, sidemarkers???

How well do they work with the stock flasher? How much modification to the fender did you have to do to install them...those are what I want....

I had to bore out an area just slightly smaller than the footprint of the housing that you see in the pic. A template helped - it was a pretty unsavory experience though, having to remove that much metal from an otherwise stock SVT. The result was worth it. The colour is virtually bang on with the other indicators - the only difference is that the LEDs light up a fraction of a second quicker than the front and rear indicators.

Did I mention they're directional - you can see from the pic that they point rearward about 15 degrees smile

those are real nice! I wonder if i could just paint the housing on some slightly cheaper sidemarkers and get the same effect?

It's possible. But I can't stress enough what a neat effect the LEDs provide. You can very clearly see the 3 individual LEDs light up rather than a diffuse light source as in the case of most sidemarkers - crisp is the word that comes to mind.
