Please forgive me for asking this question. I did try a search before posting, but didn't really find too much info. I apologize if its been covered a hundred times...

Can 98 or newer side skirts be used on a 96, or do I need to stick with the 95-97 cars?

My girlfriend recently bought a 96 GL 5-speed. We are so happy with the car, but do want add some SE side skirts and hopefully some SE 7 spoke wheels... I haven't had too much luck finding either items(at prices we can afford) but have run into a lot of skirts for 98 and newer 'tours.

Thanks for any help

I believe the 98+ sideskirts are a direct match. Correct me if I'm wrong.

any sideskrt you want, in any year, be it se or svt will fit like they were meant to be there. go for it, it really helps the overall look of the car. peace.

How exactly do you get the sideskirts off the car beacuse I saw one in the junkyard but I didn't have time to look at how you remove the side skirts? If someone could help me out I'd appreciate it.
thanks,
Jerry

about 7? phillips head secured plastic mounting inserts vertical behind the skirt. and one plastic friction tab on each end.

so bring a phillips screw driver, and a panel puller, if you don't have a panel puller a regular screw driver and/or some needle nose will do the job. you'll prolly have to buy new tabs for the end and a few of the other types.

Please: put something meaningful in your post subject! NOT "please readme!".

"your" is possessive, "you're" is the conjunction that is short for "you are", "there" is for "the dictionary is over THERE", "their" is the possessive one, and "they're" is a conjunction that is short for "they are". have a nice day
