I picked up the nasty habit and now, of course, I have a faint smell of Camel Turkish Jade in my car.
Any recommendations for getting it out? Would Febreeze work well?
Cheers in advance!

Get the carpet steam cleaned or use the carpet cleaner-in-a-can and get to work. Also you'll want to spray something like febreze on the headliner since it retains odors quite well. Might be a good idea to go ahead and change the HVAC filter at the same time...don't think smoke odor would infiltrate it but it couldn't hurt to replace it.
Oh and most importantly, quit smoking! :p

If you know anyone who works in restoration, like say a house caught on fire and the company fixed the damages to the house. What they would then do is go in with a smoke machine and spray it all over the house. The smoke has some chemicals in it that take the odor away, and in like ten minutes all the smoke is gone and so is the smell. My friends dad owns a restoration company called Paul Davis Restorations. It is all across America, you may want to check in the phone book to see if you have one in your area. Believe me this **** works really good, my friends dad smokes in their Blazer and he does this to it like twice a year and you would never know that he smoked in it. Or you may just want to take it to a detail place. Hope this helps.

this is what my brother did b4 he sold the car on a nice day, remove the seats and all
take out the carpet then get a power washer or drive to a car wash and wash it. this will help get the dirt off of it too. careful not to spray to close because it will ruin the carpet.
then try outside in the sun. this should get it out.
then get an air freshner and spray it on the carpet. get a nice 1 that u wont mind having in your car for a few days. i recomment rasberry smells really nice and fruity (lol) or get babypower scent that smells ok too.
im gonna say avoid vinella because when the car gets hot inside its not a good smell, it actually makes me sick.

I'd say to detail the interior with everything in the store, foaming carpet cleaner, glass cleaner, the scented dashboard treatment, Oder-X, leather treatment, etc! Leave the windows down and STOP SMOKING, IT SUCKS ANYWAYS

I've now tried this myself and it works. Not to mention it is cheap as hell! Take an apple, cut it into 1/4s and place them inside the car. Put the car in a dark place where you can leave it for an extended period of time, roll up the windows and let her sit. I would think the longer the better, but just guessing. I let mine sit for about 2 days, drastically reduced the smell. Even if it doesn't, your out maybe $1 or $2.

One word ... OZIUM . It's a spray-sanitizer , nothing works better . You can pick it up in the auto section at your local K-Mart . Thin round can . Get the "original scent" . It really works , makes your car smell as clean as a hospital . Of course , like everyone else said , to remove smoke odors for good ... just remove the smoke . We'd like to have you around a while !
