SQPlus, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. Been off the computer for a few days. Yes, I did get the mirror off eBay. I installed it successfully the other day.
However, I'm still looking for that MTX shift boot for the pre-98's (I don't know if the base plastic piece that fits into the console is the same in pre and post 98's, if they are, any year will do).
Greatly appreciated if you can locate this for me. No big rush, tho.

Not yet, still looking though. I'm off the next two days and will *try* and go look then, sorry for the delay. My car *ran into* some trouble last night and currently isn't driveable so I'm sharing a car with my GF. That puts a small hinderence on things sometimes.

Thanks fellas...I wish I could say I was 'OK'...I've developed this angry twitch since last night but it seems to be getting better. I'm still mad at myself for being stupid and not paying enough attention but thats life.  Its raining like MOSES tonight so its doubtfull I'll get out to the yard...mud, ya know. Thanks to all for being patient on this, I know I'm a little slow.
