Anyone have anything to say about those "micro-fiber" towels? I was wondering if I should get some as interior cleaners and Zaino removers. I don't know if my finace is going to "allow" me to shell out money for Cannon or Fieldcrest towels like the www.zainobros.com website recommneds.

If your Zainoing I would suggest buying the full bath Fieldcrest towels or any 100% cotton made in america. You need these to help absorb all the left over Zaino, not just cuz there good on the paint, If you use smaller towels then you will see smears on your paint because it wont be picking it up.
Dont know much about the microfiber, all I know is if your going to spend money on Zaino you might as well make it look good and buy the right towels. I know there expensive, i had to wait a whole other paycheck just to go buy them.

I use paper towels for interior clean up and it works just fine.
Wait for the towles to go on sale somewhere like Kohls o Linens & Things. I got some big bath towels for only $6ea. Also, some hand sized towels for car wash mitts for $3ea. Just gotta be patient for those, o you pay $15ea for a towel. I recommend two towels for one vehicle at a minimun. Often times you'll use one to dry after a wash, then another for Z6 while the other one is drying.
As for the microfiber towels, I have heard mixed things. Some have nothing but praise, others they create scratches. Cost just as much as towles so I'd just get towels.

Another good place to check is Sam's Club or Costco, every once in a while they have good deals on fieldcrest and cannon, I got a 5-pack for something like $25.

Sometimes you can find some white cannon hand towel @ wal-mart in a 5 pack for like 5 bucks. That's what I buy to use. I like that size because it doesn't all get in the way like a full size bath towel does.

Looks like I am in for a trip to the Wal-Mart and BJ's (local Sams/Warehouse type). Anyway, thanks for all the input. I am thinking more along the lines of between the hand towel and bath towel.
As for the micro-fiber towels the jury is still out so if anyone else has any ideas I would love to hear.
Thanks guys/gals ...

We have the microfiber towels at the detail shop I work at--i've been using them for a couple of months now, and they're really nothing to write home about. Do yourself a favor and just invest that money on a whole butt load of regular towels they you won't cry over when you get em all dirty.

I have a ton of white 100% cotton towels (Not the Cannon or Fieldcrest style). My finace (wife in two weeks) works as a travel agent and gets free stays in hotel (ala Hyatt) all the time. Wonder if they would "miss" a "couple" towels?? Thanks for the idea Perry.

Umm, Microfiber towels are great. I use the all the time. The cheap ones I purchues at Target/Walmart are only used for wheel and door jam cleaning. For zaino I hear microfiber is very good at removing and I have had no problem in the past. I even have microfiber wash mitts and wax/polish applicators. I agree on the Fieldcrest towels.
