Seeing as us Mk1 owners are changing our sail panels to the ones you have, does anyone want to do the reverse and change theirs to louvred ones as seen on Mk1 Mondeo's in Europe?
I happen to have some for sale if anyone wants to make me an offer?

Those look good what do ya want for them.
I assume they mount the same as ours.

90% sure that they won't fit a Contour. At least one person has tried putting Mondeo sail panels on a 98+ Contour.

I've put some Mk2 Mondeo ones on mine and they fit, so unless the rear door on a Contour is different, I can't see why they wouldn't fit.
This photo shows Mk2 Panels on a Mk1 door, on a friend's car.

I think it depends on which model, some might fit, so won't. Hatchback, sedan, etc...

those louvered ones are badass..i'd like a set for my car if they fit. also, when you say "some of use mondeo owners", could you specify which model owners are doing this? what year(s), and model(s)?

Mobydick check your PM's. Also I have to agree that they would have to be from the regular Mondeo model and NOT the hatch back. By the way Mobydick are you a Led Zeppelin fan by chance, or in particular John Henry Bonham? If so they're the greatest rock band ever, period laugh

Hehe, didn't know there'd be such a response. My car is a hatchback, but the door on a saloon(sedan) is the same.
Basically, the louvred one was on the '93 - '96 models (Mk1) Which year did you start getting contours?
Our Mk2 '96 - '01 had the flat panels, ours says 'Mondeo' yours says 'Contour'. There's been quite a few of us on MEG who have changed our panels over. They fit exactly the same, the main difference is where they screw on, there's two holes in the frame where yours (and our mk2) has two plastic lugs to locate it. On a MK1 panel, the lugs are screwed together. The clips etc are all the same. When I put my new panels on, the bottom sticks out a little, so I would imagine the Mk1 - contour panel switchover would fit better actually.
BTW Roger R, yes I'm into Led Zep, how did you guess LOL. I actually play guitar for a British Led Zep tribute band. Have a look. GRAF ZEPPELIN WEBSITE
Any more info needed, just ask.
