Any of you guys that have taken out the under hood insulation having any paint issues from the extra heat? I've thought about venting the hood, but don't want paint problems.

I have had my insulation out for at leat a year no problems at all. I know of atleast 5 other SVTs with it out and none were having any problems. So take off the tabs and clean up the underside of your hood!!! smile

I took the insulation off of mine. I cleaned it up and put a few stickers on. Looks pretty clean without that nasty looking insulation.

Late models came without insulation.

Insulation is more for noise than anything else.
