I already have the VW clear side markers for the Beetle and Passat, but I need to get my hands on the bulb sockets and bulbs. The guy at the VW parts department in the nearest town doesn't know jack **** about what he is talking about and said if I want the bulb sockets I was going to have to shell out $3,000 because it has to come with the wiring harness. I think the Audi bulb sockets and bulbs would work too so if anyone knows where I can buy these online or if someone could get these for me I will pay a good extra $20 for helping me out. Thanks.

I bought everything from a local Audi dealership and heres what I got:

- 2 bulbs
- 2 sockets
- 2 lenses

The total price for these items was $69.00 which I know is high, according to some, but I got the right parts and great service. Also I got to walk into a dealership that I'll probably never be able to buy a car from too :p

I printed the price from the howto and took it with me to the audi dealer next to where I live. I was just reading off the parts to him that I needed. Didn't even try to argue the price or anything even though they quoted me a little higher than was on the paper. He noticed that I had prices next to the parts and told me that he would give it to me for the prices I had. I wish my mercury dealer was as nice.

I hear that.

I remarked that I liked my buddy's Audi. So much that I decided to use his sidemarkers. You should have seen the look on his face.
