I got the info to do the fog light mod, my question is that I'm seeing alot of picture with the parking lights on with fogs and the daytime lights are not runing, is that part of the mod in wiring or is there some fuse to pull to elimate the daytime runing lights.

I didn't think the SVTs got the running lights but maybe they did. I'm assuming of course you're talking about the mod on your car. If you do have DRLs(daytime running lights)there is a tall white relay in the engine bay fuse box that needs to be removed. You'll need to install a bar across two of the terminals however or else your lights wont come on at all. IIRC the terminals are the ones to the drive and passenger side of the box. Meaning, if you're looking down into the fuse box from the front of the car you need to add a jumper of some sort(inch of wire, two connectors)in between the left and right terminals where the relay used to be. HTH.

Thanks, it's because it's law in Canada that cars after a certain year have to have DRL's, thanks alot for the how to.

Oh right, guess I should have read where you were from. It all would've made since then. BTW, just glad I could help. You might try getting the actual Ford buss bar from a dealer(or wrecked car)just to be safe. Its a fairly stout piece of metal considering it directs the current for the headlights

My Tour had DRL and I live in MN!!!!! I just diconnected them from the headlights when I put on my aftermarket driving lights. Now my driving lights are my DRL's.

The fuse for the DRL's, I believe, is the ignition fuse under the hood. Don't quote me but I think this is correct. It shoudl be in the manual.

DRLs really don't complicate the issue....but the fog lamp mod if you have DRLs is somewhat pointless.
