OK, I saw on here a few weeks ago how a guy put an exhaust tip on his Mystique, I think it was chrome even, said it was about $20. My question, Ive looked thru all the posts, and used the SLOW search thing, and I cant find it! Does anyone have a pic of it, or where he got it? I want one, and looked, but I want it to look as nice as his. Also, if I put seat heaters in my car, could the switches go in the screw caps on the dash? I wanna put one in the screw cap by the TCS button under the drivers side vents, and another in the screw cap in the curve in the dash, under the passenger-side middle vent. Possible? Oh, and the driver's side middle vent is broken, and Id like it fixed...would they have to replace the whole panel, so Id get 2 new middle vents and a new drivers side vent, and clock and all that? Or would they just replace the little plastic louvers and the piece that holds them in? If they have to replace the whole thing, would it be possible to get the newer style vents, that arent so easy to break? Thanks alot!

You can get a stainless one from AutoZone that even has the same cut angle on the end. I got mine for only $6 bucks or so.

...I dont think theres an AutoZone here...we have Checker though...and I didnt see any ones I liked there tho...Ill check tho, anyone know about my vent thing?

about your vent issue, I'm pretty sure that the whole panel has to be replaced. I've had my panel off several times, for working on my gauges, and also wanted to fix my left drivers side vent. Not sure about a mystique, but on a contour, the vents are spot welded in place and there's not really any good way to take it apart w/o breaking the plastic vent housing could be different for a mystique though.

I'm looking for a nice chrome exhaust tip as well, so if you wouldn't mind MystyMystique please PM me if you come across any chrome ones or the picture you're looking for would be nice too

Well, looks like Ill tell them to put in the new style vent panel, I dont want it to fall apart again...and about the exhaust tip...how can you tell if its the right angle? I want to get my car looking as nice and luxurious as I can get it, I wanna put seat heaters in the front seats, and in the outboard rear seats, and I wanna try and confifure a new console/arm rest design that actually has a usable armrest, the one thats in there is way too low and way too far back. Maybe I could put in some rear seat vents too Anyway, how can I tell if the exhaust tip has the right angle?
