Does anyone have a pic of the 2002 Cougar shift knob? I think it's leather/brushed aluminum, but I'd like to see one before I order one...

Thanks in advance.
Kerry

Theres one for sale in the classifieds for only $15.00 and it looks damn good too cool The top is an aluminum-like finish with the pattern kinda "stamped" in. This is WAY better than the boring one that came on our cars wink

Would this fit with reverse lockout on an SVT?

Awesome! I went to my local Mercury dealership this weekend to check it out. It looks great but they couldn't tell me whether it would fit the SVT. Does anyone have the Merc. part number for this item? The guy there couldn't guarantee that I'd be getting the same shifter that was installed on the Cougars sitting 100ft outside his door and said that since it was a special order there would be no refunds. I noticed the lockout ring with the Cougars had a brushed aluminum look to it too. I am assuming this piece would fit as well? Overall, this is one of the best shifters I have seen in any car!

Focus, Contour, Cougar are all interchangable. They all use the MTX75 and same shifter.
