If I get the shop shop install kit will I be able to install it? I called a few shops but they have no idea if it needs a new speedo gear or what not so I don't feel safe bringing it there. I know I could ship it to Terry, but I want to get it done without waiting two weeks for shipping there and back.

Waiting to be installed: svt engine with 11k miles on it/ fidanza flywheel/Quaife/energy suspension engine mount inserts.

Ok if I bring it to a shop do I need a Zetec speedo gear? I was told I do but I called sho shop about their kit and they have no idea what I am talking about. For those that had it done was it straight forward for the shop or did they have to get parts for it? What was the cost just for the install of the Quaife (my tranny is out already).

I would still talk to Terry to see if he can do a sort of "hurry up" offense on the tranny. He might be able to turn it faster then 2 weeks.  Also then you know its done right AND he can check out your 11K tranny and see how healthy it is. I talked with him at lenght yesterday and the guys rocks, very easy to talk to and to work with. Good luck!

There is no 'kit' to install a Quaife..!!!! ,if the shop does not know what has to be 'replaced' when a diff is changed your at the wrong shop!!!!!!
