I have been reading about how one of the mods for pre 98s is to switch to the post 98 sail panels and vice versa. I couldn't find a thread that discusses exactly why people want to do this? If you have done this, I'm curious as to what your reason was. I guess I just don't get it. If there is another thread on this, sorry, just point me to it!

Well some people think the the word contour on the side is tacky.( I agree) There is a GB going in the GB section on some real Carbon Fiber ones. They are $75 plus $5 and they look great!!

I didnt think the ones that said "contour" looked right. I liked the plain ones better.

Well I wanted a nice clean look down the side because I knew that I was installing the A6 sidemakers. So that was the way to go, no writing at all to speak of and I like it that way, check it out...

Wow, that does look sharp! The whole car looks awesome. But I do like the look of the plain black side panels, especially on the silver. I wonder if it would look that good on my black car. Anyone have any pics of a black SVT with the Pre-98 sails? I'll look around the forum and see what I can find.
Thanks!

An idea for you, just trade with someone with a pre 98 Tour. Its easy because the ones on the post 98's are "fancy" as I was told by the person I traded with , so its a win/win for everyone, good luck!

If you do want some 98+ sail panels, i'd be happy to trade for the pre-98s. Let me know...
