For those of you with sidemarkers, do you have them wired to run with your parking lamps and turn signal or only on when your turn signal flashes?
I'm thinking about going to get the diode and resistor I need to change mine to be dim with parking lamps and full on with turn signals. Just wanted to see how some others did theirs.

Wow man i was gonna ask the same question. But when i do mine i will do it like yours. A fellow Ceger Mike Will be helping me with the Instal he told me thats how they come on all VWs and Bmws. So the correct way would be like how you have it. Next time your next to a car that comes with one stock take a look. I think the way you have it is cool. But the other way is cool to.

I know that most cars with factory sidemarkers only use them as turn signals, but I've seen some non-tours with sidemarkers used as running lights that look pretty cool. I wonder how our cars will look with them set to be on with parking lights too.

factory is almost always turn signal only. I have mine set with parking lamps also. Perhaps the pics on my web page will help?

I've got the parts and I think I'll do it tomorrow just to see how it looks. Just to be a little different... Oh another thing. How often do you guys have to change your bulbs if you run sidemarkers with the parking lamps?

used to have them wired for both but found ricers had suddenly started putting them on their cars so I switched them over to turn-signal only...
