Read some posts on them, saw the FAQ describing how to cut to fit body panels. How much do the "ford" ones cost, and does everyone have 4 on their car, or just the front. I've noticed I'm only having problems with paint getting chipped by the front wheel well. Any thoughts?

ford wants some ridiculous amount for them. like $80 for 4.
i'm looking for generic ones that will look right. i'd use all four if i were to do it.

Please: put something meaningful in your post subject! NOT "please readme!".

"your" is possessive, "you're" is the conjunction that is short for "you are", "there" is for "the dictionary is over THERE", "their" is the possessive one, and "they're" is a conjunction that is short for "they are". have a nice day

I'm gonna go to jegs/pep boys/autozone/advance auto parts/maybe wal-mart after work tonight to get ideas of what will fit. I am assuming I'll have to cut them like in the FAQ to make it fit my sVt.

I just got some touch up paint from my ford dealership today, I'm gonna wait till warm weather and wash my car, apply touch up by wheel wells, and wax after it dries. The only complaint I have about my car's body is the previous owner either didn't see the problems that a lack of mud flaps was causing, or didn't care. I have some pretty bad knicks by the front wheel wells...maybe that's an excuse to get my car painted, hows about a fly yellow svt...

Good luck cutting them to fit over the skirts! I'm not sure if I'm going to leave mine on or not. (I have the SE skirts on the way) and I don't know if I want to go through the trouble of cutting and fitting them. But they really do help deflect a lot of the nasty grime from getting all over the side of the car. At least they aren't too expensive so if one gets messed up in the process...

I am looking to do the same thing now that winter has arrived and that is what caused all of my problems last year with my paint. All that salt and sand (more like pebbles)just ripped up my wells and doors. Living in the Northeast they are a must. I am interested in knowing what you experince is...post a pic if you get them and let us know how much!! Happy Holiday's!!!

Hello All,

I went to Auto Zone today and picked up some front flaps. I am in the process of painting them the same color as the body sothey blend in a little better. They cost $12.99 and looks like they will work out. I am a little unsure however about putting wholes in the panel of the car to get them on. I was thinking of double sided 3M tape. Does anyone have a suggestion on how else to attach them??

Peace!!
