I really want to dress up my interior a little bit and I figure a good way to do that would be either to get a dash kit or Have the black pieces on the dashboard painted. I have mid. blue interior so I was thinking of an aluminum color. I have seen brushed aluminum dash kits but I can't find a 3-D kit for the Contour. So if I painted it what color do you all think I should use and what kind of paint. I f anyone has pictures of a similar setup that would be great. Thanks!

Well if it was me and I had a mid. blue interior I'd paint all the black trim to look like it was brushed stainless. I've heard a lot of people used paint like rustoleum and such. Some have put a sealer over it, some haven't. I'd seal it just to be on the safe side. Plus if you aren't rough on your interior it should last. Just be sure to prepare the surface really good by sanding everything so it will accept the paint! just my .02cents! smile
