I recently purchased a new headlight assembly, which was cool except for the fact it has made my other lamp look like sh!t.

I have tried to polish it out with Mothers metal polish but that hasn't helped.

I was curious if maybe some steel wool or a we sand would do any good. Has anyone done this? I just don't want to make it worse.

Thanks in advance

I had good luck with GS27 scratch remover on my Taurus which has crystal clear lights. I just bought the car used and they were neglected. It also got the gunk film off of them too. You can get a bottle at wal mart, pep boys,...
