i have the smokers package and i dont smoke, go figure! laugh anyways...could i use the wires running to the lighter and just reroute them and wire up some neons underneath my seats? would it also be possible to tap them in on the headlights so that they come on with the headlights!? TIA!

just use the wires from the headlight switch, thats what i did, fairly easy, kind of a pain in the ass getting up under there though.

okey dokey......i guess what my question really would be is that is it possible to make use of the wasted power hookup that i am not using!? last time i had my middle console out, i accidentally unplugged the lighter, i never use it anyways so i didnt feel like plugging it back in.......can i do anything with this?

u could use those wires for that purpose cuz it obviously has a wire for power runnin to the lighter and and some kinda ground so it should be fine..u either need a switch or run to headlight fuse in the fuse box

I just finished wiring mine to the cigarette lighter cause I dont smoke and have no use for it. I used wire tapps and I put the positive to the 12v , and the negative to the ground , and put a switch on it. It looks nice

Yes i bought a toggle switch. I wired to wear it only comes on when i hit the switch. It looks sweet at night when its on.
