Hi, 50% is as dark as you can go on all windows ( side @ rear) in Ohio. Factory glass on most cars is very light about 98%, so 50% film will look great on your car. ( maybe lok classy instrad of a drug dealer look!!!! unless your a drug dealer .My car has 28% formula one film all around , check it out on my gallery page at www.detailingshop.ca.

Oh by the way the reason tint laws have become so strict is that people keep insisting on puting 5% limo tint on the front doors... it's dangerous at night time @ being that most limo tint is dyed film it only regects about 30% heat where as metal film keep out 50% or more.

i have 30% all the way around and i have gotten a few tix, but the cops here are d$$k heads and they love to pull over young guys and w/hooked up cars. i just laugh and flip them the bird when they walk away. "get that taken care of right away sonny" righttttttttttttt officer!!!!! gettin inspected is a pain in the a$$ though

svt sean - I like the look of the 50 % on your svt, only thing I worry about is 50 % on T-red won't look as dark, will it?

Hi, My svt has 28% Ultimate all around not 50%, so you might want to put 38% all around as it's only 10% lighter, but you may get away with out a stupid ticket. I don't know how strict the cops are in Ohio. The way they check the tint is with a light meter @ I'm sure theres prob only one per cop house. sounds like the cops in the states are alot biger a****holes than we have here in Canada

i agree with solefood21, ive had 5% tint on my black with blue interior for a year and a half without being harrassed. it's the color of your interior that makes it so dark.

No prob. for me,my buddy works as a mechanic. In MD that means nothing. Trust me I tried. The car has to be visually inspected by a State Trooper. I had ran into some tint trouble, and needless to say the car was impounded.
