I have a 2000 SE MTX medium steel blue with dark navy interior. I think they did a good job with the styling of the interior but the materials are definitely sub par, particularly the door panels which are plastic sans carpet (lower), sans fabric (upper) etc, and which seem to bruise and scratch very easily.
I know that it will be expensive, but I'm thinking of replacing them with something else. Can someone verify the accuracy of the information below?
'98 Contour door panels which have the seat fabric repeated on the door panel around the handle, window switches etc. (solid navy color w/ flame texture) but no carpet at bottom. This would look better imho.
'98,'99, or '00 Mystique door panels which have carpet along the bottom, leather or diff text vinyl around handle and better located window switches. (I like the carpet which reduces scratches from shoes and the look overall)
OR possibly SVT panels which have leather (?) around door handle area but which may not come in navy blue.
