I just got some new headlight bulbs and put them in but didnt seem that bright. I did that switch, highs into lows, and they were a lot brighter but the outside part of the headlights felt kind of hot. Has anyone had a problem with running their lights like this or is ok to do it.

9005's and 9006's are the same bulb, except for the painted cap, and plug notches. They should be fine.

I dont know if mentioning that the new bulbs are a higher wattage affects anything it says that the 9005's are 100 watts but I am pretty sure thats just trying to hype them up a bit by the companies advertisement. Thanks for the info though, I am going to run them anyway.
