All I did was to lay some tape on the fender , around the square badge before removing it (to get the jist of where it was located once off) . Then go & get the dental floss ... some good stuff . Start sawing away with it . Take your time , if you pull too hard , it'll break the floss . Let the floss do the work , have patience . It's the nicest thing on the paint . Once the badges are off both sides , take some measurements & find the center of both "squares" of tape left on the fenders . Then take some measurements from the driver's side to passenger's side "squares" to see if they're the same . If not , you'll have to just come up with a plan to make sure they're the same from side to side . Some early cars (non-v-6's) didn't have badges at all . If either is the case , I'd say make 'em level with the door bumper strips & maybe center 'em in the fender . That'd look fine , I think .
Once that's out of the way , get ready to drill

. I used a 1/8" drill bit (for starter hole) and a Uni-Bit (a cone shaped drill bit , it starts at about 1/8" & ends up at about 7/8") . Put some masking tape on the fender where you're gonna drill & mark it with a pen or marker . Use a center punch to make a dimple in the tape/paint to help keep the drill from "walking" across the fender . Having a nice new bit will really help too . Drill a small hole first , I used an 1/8" hole . Once you have a 1/8" hole (it's easy to hype yourself to drill it , trust me) , use the Uni-Bit . I forget exactly how big I made the hole , but with the Uni-Bit , you can make it whatever size you want . I think it was about 5/8" or so . THE NEXT STEP IS MOST IMPORTANT - APPLY TOUCH-UP PAINT TO THE "RAW" METAL EDGE YOU JUST MADE !!! You don't want it to rust

.
Now , open your hood . Look near the hood hinges for a 1" hole on either side . That's where your wires will go . I think I went down from the hole in the engine bay down to the fender hole . You can use a metal hanger to help you if you wish , but fish the wire down the hole & wiggle it around (the wire

) until you see it in the new fender hole . Then reach in there & grab the wire & poke it out through the hole . You can use a needle-nosed pliers , or maybe grab it with a hook tool & pull it out ... whatever it takes . It's not as hard as it sounds .
Once that's taken care of & both wire are hangin' out , just follow the instructions in the How-To's section of
www.contour.org to finish it up . If you're just going for the easy hook-up , I believe the wires you're hooking up to are the blue/orange & the black wires behind the lights . That'll make 'em flash with with the turn signals , nothing else . That's what I chose to do , since that's the way they work on normal ones anyway . I ran my wires along either side of the engine bay , taped up with black tape , just like all other wires under the hood . They look stock .
Good luck & let us see some pics once you're done

!
