Now why would you say a crazy thing like that? laugh

He speaks the truth, especially on a black car such as you own, there is really no alternative. Usually depending on how it was cared for prior to you owning it, will tell which products you need to buy. But since it is black, you pretty much need everythig.

Z-18 the claybar will remove any and all contaminents from the paint and bring the smoothness back. Z-1 is a must, as well as Z-2 and Z-6. If you have any swirl marks (knowig Ford's quality paint work you do) you will love the Z-5. Their wash, Z-7, is also amazing. If you need leather care, their leather product are also top notch Z-9 and Z-10.

Go to the Pictures and Videos forum and look at mine and JVT's huge picture posts, you will see the shine

ZA-ZA-ZA-ZA ZAINO!!

It has done wonders to my black SVT. Absolutly amazing. It takes a couple coats of getting used to and it helps if you have a lot of free time and a second car to drive around. But its hella worth it! Make sure you follow the instructions and buy the right towels.

I'm poor and cheap so I can't get Zaino, I use Meguiar's for that reason, works good, but one look at T-Red and I consider prostitution so I can get the Zaino. It just looks so much deeper than the Gold Class wax, I'm happy with the Meguiars though.

I almost forgot (shilly sit I am). Check out the group buys section for the latest info on a new group purchase on the Zaino. Sal Zaino has given us a deal on what you would need to start. Do what Eric says and get the stuff he has listed. If you order the Z1,Z2,Z5,Z6 you would get the Z7 free along with an applicator. You might wanna get a few more applicators. You total should be like 60 bucks with shippping. Go for it, you would not be dissapointed. Oh, and here is some Zaino eye candy. BTW, this is only 1 coat of Z5 and 1 coat of Z2....

Is the damage repairable??? I suggest you get the paint job, and throw on a few layers of extra clear coat if you can. That is what I really need to do...
