Chris,
That looks awesome. I want to try the same thing...if you have time could you do a walkthrough for how to attach the pieces to your car... I'm can't imagine how the rear oval is removed in the first place...

the rear oval can be removed with some fishing line and a pair of gloves. you just get the line in back of the badge and very slowly move the line back and forth. you need the gloves to protect your hands from getting cut by the line. the badge is held on with a foam which is sticky on both sides, but is easy to remove. then get some wd-40 to remove the left over sticky suff from your paint.

chris I just tried to do that and when i sanded the blue off it scratched the clear oval and the paint job looks like ****! what kind of paint did you use and how did you keep from scratching the plastic?

I did scratch the plastic, but I used medium then fine grit. Once it is smoothed, paint over it. Don't worry abou the chrome lettering unless it comes off with the emblem during removal.

no need to pry.. remove the grill. on the back are two (i don't know what you call it) holding it. use a wrench and get them off.. very easy.

I had trouble getting the rear ford emblem off, kinda chipped it so I stopped before I did more damage...how did you get it off Chris???
