I am new to the board...I have a 98 SE....I was wondering how hard it would be to change out the front and rear ford symbols and put a Batman symbol in place...this sounds kinda corny but me and my friends are going to start out own "racing team"....just something teenagers do. I guess.

The front badge is screwed in.. while the back badge is stuck on with adhesive. Very easy to take off. Why don't you just get a decal made up of your racing team and place it on the windshield. It would be better looking for the appearance of the car. You can get windshield banners made up for around $25 with your racing team or club name.

We are all going to name our cars and have the names on the top of the windshield...we decided to either change out the front logos of our cars or put a batman decal right about it on the hood....is their anyway to unscrew it?

The front grill is held in place with screws.. When you unscrew the grill you can get to the screws that are holding the badge on. It's not difficult to do at all. You shouldn't have any problems taking the front badge off. Is the batman symbol your racing team?

I had a local print shop make me up a couple of stickers that were die cut to the exact shape of the logo. Worked great and it didn't involve tools....

I saw a replacement Batman badge on a last gen Taurus SHO last week. It looked pretty cool on a black car, and it looked specifically made to replace the Ford oval on the front grill. Sorry, but no pics or ideas as to vendors.

Heres the easiest way to do it. Just go to your local auto parts store and buy some quality vinyl tape to put over the emblems. Don't use electrical tape either, it shrinks and I know this because its what I used first. Trust me this is the ONLY way to go.
