I'll have to respectfully disagree here.. I've got the following in my garage:

Black SVT
Black MB-SLK
Black Porsche Boxster

Regardless of "paint quality", all of these cars shine as if they came off the showroom floor. You absolutely can't tell the difference. And my SVT hasn't had the luxury of the garage for the past 2 years, so it's had to deal with the harsh elements.

If my paint wasn't so f'd up right now, I'd take a picture off all three to show you side-by-side results. However you cut it, paint is paint. The Germans may put more coats on theirs, but you can't make one car shine better than the other, imho.

** I'm told free samples of the polish will be available in a few weeks.. If you want one, send an e-mail to info@myroadster.net and try it against Zaino for yourself.

Oh yeah, one other thing - This is the wax/polish of choice for the Ferrari club.. If it's good enough for a Ferrari, it's good enough for me. Here's a clipping from their FAQ:

---
The most popular polymer-based finish among Ferrari owners is Liqui-tech's Finish First Auto Polish. It is an excellent choice for protecting your car's finish (and is the product of choice for the author of this FAQ). While Finish First is referred to by its manufacturer as a "polish," it's not a polish in the traditional sense of the word because it's non-abrasive. Rather than rub out swirl marks like traditional polishes, it actually fills them with a clear resin that virtually eliminates them. This clear resin also creates a mirror-like finish that is easy to keep clean, makes water bead up into tiny drops, is stronger than wax, and provides UV protection to inhibit paint fading.

Didn't I just see some special about how a bunch of Police officers in San Diego were making $100k + with all their overtime.

I wonder how these cities think they're saving money by not hiring more.

....OK, back on topic....

The pics look good, but it's really hard to tell unless we get a side by side with the two products under the same lighting.

I can make my car look shiny as all get out while it has dust all over it in the right lighting conditions.

I am curious though, because Zaino, despite its rabid fans is a little TOO expensive for what it is, maybe $5 worth of chemicals and packaging.

If you can make it or something better for less, I'll buy it. Untill then, that's what the market has and I'm willing to pay it.

This wax thing is very funny wink What I mean is that all these guys who swear by the Zaino seem to have everyone convinced. I use the Mequiers 26 Hi-Tech yellow wax, along with the Mequiers cleaner wax. Now for polish I have this stuff from Dupont thats I have mixed with some Mequiers. Not to break my hand patting myself on the back but my car looks really good and what I've used isn't even close in price to what that Zaino does. I still wanna see someone who has used the Zaino park their car next to mine so I can see the BIG difference. My car has this "wet" look all the time so where is this so called "champ" called Zaino?, I challenge you for the undisputed championship of the world. Ding-Ding :p
