Hi,

Is it possible to buy the red needles from the SVT without the rest of the guages? I already have white guages in my Mondeo but I find that painting the needles doesn't look as good at night because they don't glow as good.

Unfortunately I can't fit the whole dash from an SVT because mine has the cable-driven speedometer frown.

Any pics of an SVT dash at night, I'd like to see it illuminated. Also how are those indiglos coming along? smile

Paul.

Hi,

I'd definately be up for trading the red SVT needles, there are two problems though: Firstly my stock white needles are no longer white since I painted them to try and get the red look frown. Also I'm in the UK, but I'm sure postage wouldn't be much of a problem for a few needles!

If I can sort out some white needles, or if you are willing to sell me the red ones, I'd be up for doing a deal. Let me know what you think, I'd really like to get my hands on those SVT needles smile.

PS Got any night-time pictures so I can see them illuminated?

Cheers,
Paul.

Paul,

When you say yuo painted them, what exactly do you mean? You painted the whole thing, or did you scrape off the white paint and put some red/orange paint in it's place?

I did the second method and they look great!

I did the second method also, they look good during the day but not quite right at night frown. It might depend on what type of paint is used, but I'd prefer to just fit the pukka SVT ones and be guaranteed a perfect finish!

Paul.
