Does anyone else have this problem? I have noticed a growing number of "check" marks on my hood and deck lid. Is this a warrenty item with Ford?

nope, poor mixing of the paint or clearcoat. Too much hardner was added so it is not flexible, so it cracks.

I'm not sure if my prob is the same as all of yours. I bought my 98 Tique used, so I'm not sure exactly what caused my paint damage.

On my hood, more on the driver's side than the passenger's, it looks like I have about a million stone chips. Well, closer to 20ish, but still a lot.

Almost seems like i was riding behind a truck on a gravel road or something, but I can't really explain it. Could this be the same thing you're all talking about?

If it looks like lil cracks or spiderwebbing then it is Ford's mess up. If you are under factory warranty try and get them to repaint it for you. I was not under warranty and repainted my entire car with my own money.
