The grid does not exist in Europe...

In case you didn't understand that reference, the roads on the other side of the pond have "corners" in them. I don't mean an intersection, but real, honest-to-God bends in the road.

It's funny, they also have smaller bumpers... I guess they don't fall alseep driving on "the grid" or get confused by the whole various speeds of forward movement thing and just run into ****.

It's the same reason they don't have cruise control. They actually need to shift gears to get in and out of corners without wasting their brakes and to climb hills.

Yes indeed, driving in Europe is fun but DAMN EXPENSIVE ! I am doing the same job now with same company in MA as I did in Ireland. There is no way in hell I could afford a ST24 or ST200 Mondeo in Ireland. Thank your lucky stars...

Also, there are some great roads in the US..

£23,900 last summer for the X-reg ST200. Unfortunately I won't get to go back this summer and will now have to drive on the right side mad Ah hell, I'll switch to the left late at night and zig-zag through the city streets to make me feel better...

Cruise control only comes on the Ghia X in the UK, luxury model also with trip computer, auxilliary warning module, 10-way electric driver's seat etc. Doesn't have sports suspension though and only the 170BHP V6 engine.
