So, after much contemplation with my dad, and his skeptism(is that a word?), i went ahead and painted my interior. My car is Cabernet red(the maroon color) so i painted it that, 4 coats, then 2 clear coats. Looks awesome, and im astonished that i did it myself. i still have to do the door handles, not the ones that u open the door with, but the thing u actually grab on to to shut it, and i wanna do the speaker covers, but theyre hot glued on there and it might be complicated. Im hoping to have pics up soon, there is nothing i want more than to show everybody something i did right. Later

Nice job Trey...glad to hear it turned out good. I've been thinking about this too since I saw the contour on street-concepts.net:

It's good to hear that it turned out. I painted everything but the speaker grills. It just looked like a pain. It was pretty easy once I started.

i am going to do the same as street did. but i think i will do the area around the e-brake and shifter.

My friend did his in his white and did he do it bad. just took it out kinda taped it up and used some crap sprae paint. did nto sand it and did nto clean it. a few coats and then back in the car. no clear coat. so now it has all this dirty hands spots and over spray. very ugly.

Im not even going to bother puitting up pics, it looks exactly like that pic except door handles are done, and so are the side window vents, and rings around the inside od the door where the air goes through to the vents.

What type of paint did you use? Sounds like you did a good job.. Also what grain of sand paper?
