How much does a good paint job cost....my guy told me 250 for the whole car??

250? Sounds like a Maaco job. A good quality paint job will cost more than that in paint alone. I'm thinking at least 1250, just look around. I paid (for my old school lowrider 5 years ago) 2250 for House of Kolors candy green with too many clear coats to remember.

mine was quoted at $3k. $250 is how much my base coat cost me. that didn't include any other paint or supplies that was needed. If it is Maaco, STAY AWAY!!!

depends on what effect you are trying to get out of it. 250 would just about be enough to cover the tape and other misc stuff. a decent paint job should cost you about 3k, a better one will cost 4-6k. 250 is a joke, decent paint alone cost's more than that. But hey, that's just me..you do what you do.
