I have the console in my car. Now the question is... How do I make the metal bracket??? By the way it looks real good. I hopefully will have pics up tommorow.

I got it Tim Kirk you got it from someone else. I paid $70 for the console and $91.00 to get it painted.

It lived in my car for about 6 months, Antonio. Dealer list for a new one, with radio trim, cig lighter, ashtray, and storage cover/arm rest, cupholder insert. is a cheap (cough) $240+. Plus shifter bezel of your choice, another $40+. Hope you dont mind the hole in the back of it, I added a cigarette lighter so the kid could plug his Game-Boy in when on road trips. Or incase he wanted to smoke, he's already 6 you know. I took it out and contented it back into my 98 console because it had the cool lighted ring around it. As far as the bracket, there use to be instructions on Dan Squires web page, about a 2 or 3 years ago atleast. I made mine out of .32 alum. and tossed it when I put the new 98 console back in. Really easy, once you see his instructions, you'll know exactly what to do. Anyone have a copy from his web page????

I have one of Dan's brackets at home from when I first got my old console 2 years ago :rolleyes: . I'll try to find it and post a pic with measurements. You could probably rig up something close pretty easily.
