Yea, EPA goes by internal space, not by how long the hood is

I always thought the Contour was a compact, checked just now and EPA considers it as one (I think it missed being a mid-size by an inch or two)

Yeah, I remeber the Contour being classified as a compact, although it was marketed in the entry-mid market.

i've gotten my svt up to 130 on chicago's horrible highways. just hoping to see what i can do on a clear straightaway. but i'll have to go into the country to be able to do that.

A SHO with one driver, a SVT with 3 people, and my SE with me went up to 120 on I-94 during the SZ2K1 caravan when stupid traffic cut into our caravan. I couldn't control the speed but follow since I didn't know where the hell we were! BTW, that was with traffic going around 80-90 around us! IT WAS SCARY!!! :p

98.5SVT: How in the WORLD did you manage to get up that fast in CHicago?! I usually wind up in bumber-to-bumber!
