Is the Zaino silver darker or lighter than the silver frost? I was just wondering because maybe the wax goes with their paint products. Hope to meet up with you soon.
Roger R USMondeo@aol.com Can't make it tonight. Another time for sure, though. BTW, I have the factory Silver Frost with Zaino applied. Zaino doesn't make paint.

Personally, I found Zaino the most difficult product to get off the car, requiring considerable rubbing to take it off. It was dry (according to the test Zaino says in their instructions to tell if it's day), and it all came off as powder, but it took a lot of work... and then all those steps! Sorry, but I neither have the time nor the inclination to wax my car 5 times (plus or minus) for what may be a little better appearance.
I do like the Z6 spray, though, as it is easier to use than Meguiars, and the bottle doesn't leak.
Until somebody does the same car at the same time with Zaino and the competing product, I really won't consider it proof.
I'll stick with Zymol, which does it all in one coat, and is close to as good.

Alright, I think that what I'm going to do seing as though I'm getting the hood repainted at the end of the month is that I'm going to do a Zaino / Meguiars challenge. I've got a '99 contour, with plenty of dirt and spider swirls, I figure what a better way to compare than on my hood with a big rock gash? I'll take a bunch of pictures and let you guys decide. Hopefully I don't f*ck up while doing this but I figure it won't matter having two waxes and looking like I have mohawk in the middle with the car.

Cool the challenge is on...Go Mequiers! Make sure you tell what products you used in your hood comparison Impala.

I use their 3-step wash/polish/wax system, along with their wheel cleaner and metal polisher (for the exhaust tips).. I've been VERY happy with the results.. I'd be interested in trying Zaino, but I don't have the kind of time that requires.

For me, the Meguiars cleaner has taken off some serious scuff marks I've gotten. All the people I've shown how it works are very impressed.
