What kind of wax are you using? I know you live "across the pond" but man you need some Mequiers #26 Hi-Tech yellow wax. I personally like their products because they have a wax, polish or glaze to fit your needs. Also they have great cut-cleaners for those scratches and blemishes too. See if you can get some of that stuff. It goes EASY on and comes right off w/o any dust. Also use a foam applicator to put it on too.

Well, firstly I washed it, then used some paint stopping stuff, now using auto-glym satin polish. It works, just seems like so much hard work!and i'm a lazy bstard!

Are you doing a wax job or polishing?

If you are polishing first use a rubbing compund or cleaner then polish (once or twice a year) and use wax to maintain the shine.

Spooky mate - I just got in from waxing my car too.

I use Mer and went mad this time and did all the shut lines and inner panels - I was just thinking there must be an easier way myself !

There's a bloke at work who comes round and will wash, wax and hoover your cat for a tenner - I think I may take advantage of his services next time wink

Regards

Shawn
