I dopn't have the money, for a kit, but too many people are too scared to do anything about a kit. (Not talking about Bret, or cawong)
I think it's funny stuff like the Mondeo kit won't fit... does anyone know why? from what I understand the bumper sticks out too far on the SVT, so cut it off... It looks to be a plastic honeycomb anyways.

These topics come and go so often and nothing happens. I'll let you in on a little secret that I told people over 1 year ago (some of you will remember)... there is a 1997 with a kit. smile

All I'm saying is stop whining about not having body kits.. if you REALLY want one that bad, you can get one.

The car I'm talking about is a 1997 Zetec, automatic, 100 shot of NOS, modified Weapon R intake. It has an Andy's Autosport Combat kit that was designed for an integra 4 door, modified to fit. The car was in the April 1999 issue of Tuning Concept magazine. When i get to a scanner I'll scan the article.

Hell I just got back from installing the lip off this:

Don't have a clue, but someone is doing that now... From the sounds of it, there isn't much cutting, only by the lights, and then the grill area is a pain in the butt. A good autobody person who knows how to plastic weld should be able to use the center top section of the se bumper and put it onto the SVT one.

I think thats the whole point of this forum, isnt it? And, not everyone has access or the skill to do the body work that it would take to install something that wasnt made for their cars exclusively.

Very easy task if you have the right tools to do the job.

Lets see, a heat gun, urethane strips (used like welding flux) and cutoff tools.

Also, not to mention a shop to do the work.

Trust me, I am in the process of buying an SVT front bumper right now!

The only thing thats kinda hard to deal with about the svt bumper is that its wider, so a little bit of cramming has to be done in order to get it to fit. basically, just bolt in the fender wells, then pull the bumper out to compensate for the bowing, then screw it in. (I screwed it in under the headlights)
