Yo I was wondering if you got a side of the bumper I think that would help to.

Looks nice... I had a quick suggestion...what about a front bumper that is basically stock with a couple of saleen type (off of the 2nd rear bumper picture in the other post) vents on the sides. Also, maybe some small brake ducts on the sides of the fogs and kind of a small lip on the bottom jutting out...just an idea. Keep up the great work.

Why can't someone just modify the existing SVT bumper design so it will fit the pre-98 body style? Would there be enough changes to keep Ford satisfied that you didn't take their design? That would save the rest of us from having to do what beyondloadedSE is doing over here (even though he's doing an excellent job): SVT bumper on 96 'tour

I'll say this as often as I can... All I want is a front air dam. Bumpers and wild mods are great for some people, but I think there are those of us out here who want the car to look like a Contour when we're finished, and/or who don't want to spend a mint on new plastic. Gimme a front air dam that really complements the existing design, blends with existing side skirts, and doesn't require replacing the whole bumper. (Not a generic one, as is currently available.) Ditto for the back. Maybe a fascia patterned after the Mondeo RS. Mondeo RS body kit And of course I'm talking early 'Tours, here.

Amen to that. I like the way my 'tour looks right now, but need something on the front. An air dam would be perfect. Thats what we need. And, we defenitly need it for the pre 98's bad. Originally posted by RogerB: I'll say this as often as I can...
