Bret- I think it is great that you're taking the time to pursue the body kits. I have been following the thread closely since it began, and I have a question/concern regarding the process of creating a body kit that, if it can be answered, may create more interest among other fellow CEG'ers.

So here's the question... Once a body design is chosen from a photo (lets take the Saleen kit for example), what steps follow to translate the concept to its final design? Right now it seems to me that you would take the design, hand it off to one of the companies, and hope that what comes back replicates the design almost perfectly. This is an oversimplification I know, but I think it makes a strong point. Without tons of dimensions or an actual car to do this development work on, how will this company be able to create the parts necessary to satisfy the design? I think this is related to the amount of response you have gotten here on the boards. Putting down a 50% deposit on a kit that you don't have a very good clue as to how it will be created or what it will exactly look like when completed is a big commitment. So, I think if you are able to shed some light on this topic people will feel more comfortable with the risk they have to take. Well... this would help me anyway
