No pictures yet, sorry.

My friend used Meguiar's Metal Polish (a paste) under the hood of his Civic Si to polish up all the metal parts. With enough elbow grease, he made a very professional looking mirror polished shine on many parts. So, I gave it a shot on my SVT.

You know that long pipe-like thing on the passenger's side of the engine bay? It has a copper-like finish on it...anyway, I brought that to a mirror shine and it looks really nice. Any metal fittings (coolant hose at the front of the engine bay, EGR valve, etc.) can be polished up really nicely, but it does take a long time. Anyway, thought I would share that tip, and I'll get pictures soon.

Well, that piece that looks copper-ish took me two hours. However, that is because it has that coating on it...it needs a LOT of work to look "chromed". I will get pictures next time I detail the car. The other parts won't need nearly as much work, since they have no coating to get off before you can get to the bare metal.

Was that coating important? Oops
I also hit my KKM aluminum oil cap, it looks a little better now. More reflective. I would love to polish my battery brace, but it has the black paint on there and would probably be more trouble than it's worth.
