I already have SCA Side Markers installed, but want to install the Audi A-6 markers. I filed the pre-existing holes to fit the SCA markers and was wondering if the A-6 will fit pretty cleanly without any more filing...or worse yet, if anyone knows if the A-6 markers are smaller in width and height compared to the SCA markers?

Thanks.
Moe

I don't think this has been done, you can be our guinea pig... mwuhahaha!

No, seriously, go to a VW dealership, pull up beside any of cars, and check out the side markers (All the VW's/audi's have basically the same size markers) and compare. I don't think there's going to be a large difference in size. From the pics I've seen of all the makes, alot of them look to be the same size, they just have different shapes (i.e. some are oval, others are rounded rectangles, teardrop, etc...) Let us know.

hehe, no problem, I'll be the "guinea pig"...

actually I'm going to do it anyways because I did look at someones Jetta and it looks real close in dimension to the SCA markers. So I might as well give it a shot.

I'll keep ya'll posted!

Nah I wouldn't say there is a problem with them as far as defects or anything...I bought those without seeing the A6 markers and after I installed the SCA markers I realized that I like the A6 markers better...just a personal preferance thang...
