I have a 95 with bassani exhaust and it rubs on the bottom side of my bumper. I've been thinking about an SVT bumper for along time, but if my exhaust rubs on my bumper now, what should I do about a bumper that would be even lower? I can't pull the back of the exhaust down because it pushes the rest of it up. any help would be appreciated.

1st off, you and me both did this the complete wrong way. we should have gotten the bumper 1st so they could match up the exhuast to it. my tips press towards the outside of the SVT bumper and i am gonna need to have an exhuast shop to some chopping we did it in the wrong order! oh well

If you want to do bumper modification, talk to me *THANKS TRAPPS!!* I've done some stuff to my bumper because of an exhaust system that is going in this weekend, so let me know if you need any help. And if you are coming to Spring Zing, I can even do it there!

has anybody thought about doing something like what was seen on the 60's mustang GT's with the chrome ring so that the pipes come through the bumper? I havent seen it done but I think the results would be pretty awesome..... and it could be a simple mod, like having two rings that screwed together with allen screws in the perimeter like you see on those aluminum gas caps and that way you could sandwich the bumper in between and also have black or body colored spacers to contour to the curves of the bumper and have a flat ring. Personally I think this would look more finished instead of something that was done to correct sloppy exhaust planning.... although the pics showed everything but... I think it was a really awesome job....let me know your opinions on this, negative or not.....
