I just got back my first set of the CF gauges from the print shop... I think they look hot, what do you all think? (Colors are changable, but these match the new Autometer CF 5" tach) Prices would be ~ $120 or so when I reopen... bnmotorsports@aol.com

Okay, i am SO all over a blue/black HVAC
panel. Oh man do these look sweet. Brad,
you rock!

No problems with lighting, nothing? Wow.
If you have a blue/black HVAC (or blue or
grey or whatever really, as long as it'll
look good) that will match the stock night
lighting, I am there...

Thanks Steve. The HVAC will hve two changes made before going inot production. One, the center holes need to be bigger to allow the knobs to light up. I have this problem changed on current white pieces, for some reason the print guy didn't make them the same on this version. Two, the temp sweep will be blue and red more as the stock piece would have, but with only one dividing line between the two colors. As I said before, only when I'm ready to give good service again will I reopen BNM... It shouldn't be long now... SZ at the latest, I'll have a bunch with me

This is actually a blank backed set laying on a blue folder (no glow color attached yet, but it will be amber). Matching the stock green has proven to be a challenge as some people go nuts over what I sell and others say it doesn't match at all. I need to get together with Buckshot sometime to try to match the stock SVT lighting color... It will be green lighting, but I have to work on them a little more first... Custom glow colors like red and blue are easy, because people don't expect them to match anything stock... ah well, back to the drawing board.

Well, keep us all in the loop. I'm sitting
here with cash in hand the second these are
ready with something approaching the stock
green glow color.

Quick questions... the carbon fiber seems to
be printed, I assume it isn't real? Also, is
there any plan to print/fabricate the various
color weaves (like the blue/black and others
featured by some of the dash kit companies)?

This carbon fiber is the stuff from Tapeworks, available in many, many colors. I get the sheets, peel them off and place them on plotter backing, send them through the cutting machine, then have clear vinyl faces made with the numerics on them. The clear gives the CF more depth and makes it easier to have one color during the day and different color for glow at night (or the same color if you wish). My cost right now is based on Tapeworks' retail prices, I'll be checking into wholesale pricing if they have it and adjust the price down accordingly. Thanks for any constructive feedback.
