I was looking on the "Need for Speed"(the UK company) website in the links section and i looked up the mondeo. I found an aftermarket set of headlights and thought they were pretty cool and I just wanted to know if anyone knows if they can be put on the SVT, how much it costs(approx), and what, if any mods need to be done to fit the headlights on the SVT. I would imagine that the mondeo light assembly is virtually identical to the SVT, but that's just a guess. I actually found a picture of what they look like on a SVT(not sure if it's photoshopped or not?) with the headlights. Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks,

Everybody says no...but nobody has yet to try.

And from what I recall, they are about 300 English ($500+ American???)

Its not working. Somebody tried it (I dont remember who). They took pictures of the stock headlight pulled off the car and the aftermarket light and the curves on the side of the headlight by the park light bulb are completley different. If you want to mix up some bondo you could get them to fit, I think that was the only difference.

Well, looking at that picture in the Contour Repository it sure looks like somebody already did it... Unless I'm staring at 95sepd's beautiful work once again?

These headlights have different mounting points, as well as a different shape where they meet the fender, nothing a good body shop can't take care of though. There is also the concern that UK headlights will have a pattern for a right-hand drive car which will blind oncoming traffic over here in North America. Find them as a LHD setup at least. Then it's only a couple days at the body shop.

Been there, tried to do that. It will not work without extensive, extensive modifications

how about seperating your stock enclosure and modifying it to hold two cicular piaas or such? Would probably be cheaper than what it costs to purchase that kit.

Just use some fiberglass.
