Can anybody tell me either what they paid for a completely new paint job, or what they think it would cost me to get my car completely repainted. I'm thinking of doing some things to my car like new paint job and exhaust, and just trying to get a estimated cost before doing this. My exhaust will just be a 2 1/2" pipe with a magnaflow muffler, no tips, standard crush bends (I know get mandrel bet, but there's nobody within 8hrs drive that does it). An aprox. cost would be great.

Of course you can go to Maaco and get a really crappy pj for $150

I got a quote of $1200 for a complete color change. Though it is also a friend that is doing it. He says for that price, I have to help him disassemble the car, tape it up, detail it when we are done, and help him reassemble the whole thing.
